DanceArt Studio Faculty brings a wealth of experience, training and knowledge to our students. Staff members are qualified with dance degrees, performance experience, teaching experience and/or knowledge of their specific dance area. With a variety of different teachers they all bring their own personality to a class when teaching. Our teachers have strong backgrounds in different dance genres such as ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, clogging, hip hop, preschool education, movement fundamentals, musicality, costuming, theater, choreography, and more. Our staff is a team of diverse art educators making DanceArt Studio a valuable place to educate our youth about dance! We are very excited to welcome your dancer to our dance program.

Ballet and Lyrical Instructor
Ms. Mallory is an experienced dancer and put on her first pair of ballet shoes at the age of three. She has also performed in many recitals, showcases, and competitions. Mallory continues to take top awards at Starsystems Dance Competition and Showbiz National Talent.
Ms. Mallory is known at DanceArt Studio for her beautiful grace and elegance. She is often referred to as the “ballerina”. She has a true love and passion for ballet and pointe.
Studying under phenomenal choreographers such as Kristin Sudeikis, Kirsten Russell, Carisa McMillan, Barbara Long, Margaret Jones, Holly Crosby, and Justin Faircloth, has given Ms. Mallory opportunities to grow, master, and succeed as a dancer and instructor. Ms. Jen Waldon has contributed and molded Malory’s clean, crisp technique through the years.
During Mallory’s time at West Johnston and at Cleveland Middle School Mallory has received many awards an daccolades for her academic achievements. A member of Beta Club and National Honor Society, Mallory has accomplished being top in her class. She has received awards for top-rank in French III, Advanced Functions and Modelings, Dance, History and Art. Not only does she maintain a high rank, but when not studying, dancing, or teaching dance, Mallory often volunteers and contributes to her community. She has nominated and currently serves both on Youth Council and Mission Team at Mt Zion UMC. Through both dance and church she has helped homeless and those less fortunate by serving locally as well as traveling the last five summers to aide those in need.
Ms. Mallory has a gentle and kind spirit. Always offering kind words to her students and encouraging each student that walks in her class. Her positivity is contagious and students that take her class fall in love with dance.
Ms. Mallory not only offers a class full of movement but likes to incorporate educating students on the “terms”, “spelling”, and “meaning” behind the steps. Her students leave the season with a vocabulary of dance steps. She believes in educating them so that they know what they are learning, why, and how! Be ready for a class full of learning with Ms. Mallory!
Jazz, Lyrical, & Hip Hop Instructor
Ms. Sam is an experienced dancer and has danced since she was three years old.
She is currently a third year student in the International Baccalaureate Dance Diploma Programme at GMHS. This study has allowed Ms. Sam understanding of dance histories, theories and how these practices integrate physical, intellectual ations and cultures familiar and unfamiliarnd emotional knowledge, along with a mastery in various dance styles, tradi
Ms. Sam has a love for children and teaching that goes beyond dance. She is currently in her second year as a Peer assistant teacher at Smith Elementary where she works with Kindergarteners.
She has performed in many recitals, showcases, and competitions. Sam continues to take top awards at Star Systems Dance Competition, Showbiz National Talent and Encore Dance Competition.
Ms. Sam is known for her amazing ability to spin and turn. She is often referred to as the “spinning top” at DanceArt Studio. She has a true love and passion for contemporary /jazz dance, ballet, tap and improvisation.
Studying under phenomenal choreographers such as Kristin Sudeikis, Kirsten Russell, Carisa McMillan, Margaret Jones, Justin Faircloth and Master Instructors from the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre have given Ms. Sam opportunities to grow, master, and succeed as a dancr.
Ms. Holly Crosby, Jen Waldon along with her IB Dance Instructors have contributed and molded Sam’s clean, crisp technique throughout the years. Ms. Sam is a fun, bubbly ball of energy who keeps all the kiddos smiling!
Outside of school and dance Ms. Sam enjoys working as a photography assistant, spending time with her family, friends and her three cats.
